Into the last days of holis and 2006

Once again the holidays have went by so quickly and here is a time to take stock of the days spent. I set out in the second half of the year to start or accomplish these things.
1) learn finger tip hook bowling
2) learn driving
3) Read shepherding a child
Of which the most sucessful being bowling. Thanks to Guan's perserverance to pursue his interest. I had only two driving lessons up to date but will ensure it remains a continuous affair till the test date in May. As for reading, two chapters is a poor progress but nonetheless, I will carry it in my bag until it has been read.

Of course there are other stuff:

work
- finished and printed a resource package
- did a GB stock take

Family
- had Jadon home almost every night. This boy is a babe! You wont believe but it feels quite happy to bathe them every morning. Jo is quite toilet trained now, a remarkable progress.

Personal
- spend most time shopping for xmas gifts which i hope all is happy with their gifts.
- watched war and beauty. (really sad show about the Forbidden city and a story of true love and sacrifice)

Its a break well spent. Looking ahead, its time to set goals and change focus for the year 2007 ahead.

Time may not stop to wait for me but to manage it is a matter of choice. Hope you had a Great Time.

Comments:
Nice reading your post.

My resolution (perhaps the only one) for the new year is to be resolute in following God to the best that I can because as far as 2006 is concerned it has been a spiritual plateu for me, despite the fact that I'm teaching Sunday School.

The quote below is a nice one and I think at the end of the day, being content with what God gives is great gain... Have a blessed new year ahead.

"Next to faith this is the highest art -- to be content with the calling in which God has placed you."
- Luther, Martin
